Chance of Innocence

They say that you are innocent
until you're proven guilty.
Is this just a consequence
or demented reality?

How can they prove your innocence
when things are looking so bad?
What is your motive,
why have you been had?

"You're Guilty!"

They condemn you
with criticism
before they put
you on the stand.
They shout out loud
"You're Guilty!"
even before the
hammer slams.

Within

Within, someone starts crying,
starts shaking with emotion.
Begins to crave for an ending,
an ending to come near.
A new chance must be begun
to end the ending and begin the fun.
As we work through the emotions
and find something real.

In The Night

In the night
while I lay sleeping,
in the day,
when I'm awake.
My heart and soul
leave my being
for you
to take.

A Time For Living

There's a time for living,
and a time for love.
There's a chance for us all
to make a brand new start.
There's people out there
who do really care.
Maybe we're too quick off the mark,
too quick to judge.
