About
You have stumbled (maybe intentionally) to this website, which has been designed specifically for my small business ‘Interactive I.T. Designs’. Thank you for taking the time to look at my site and read this. Some of you may have stumbled to this site, which has been forward linked, from OSIE Services www.osie.com.au website. Over the next six months, OSIE Services website will cease.
OSIE Services began as O.S.I.E. Learning (One Sound Isn’t Enough. This was invented because of a program that I developed to help my High Functioning Autism son learn English – reading, writing and speaking, based on the Spalding’s learning system in 1995. I was intending to market this developed system as a product, however, I became ill, and found life too busy to continue with the ‘kit’. Maybe, once I have finished studying, I will be able to drag up the files and reconfigure it to suit with today’s needs of learning.
Currently, I am a stay-at-home-mum (SAHM), with four sons aged 11 up to almost 20. I have dabbled in making websites – mainly for non-profit organisations (like Scouting, cattery, local community etc). Most of these sites can be accessed through the Profiles menu.
I am currently an undergraduate studying Internet Communications (BA) through Curtin University and OUA, so that I can improve my skills and knowledge, and to reach a wider client base.
Creative: I like to design unique websites, along with cross-stitching, sewing, manga drawing (not on puter), free-hand drawing, occasional knitting, writing poetry and short stories (although the writing bit has been on hold for some years) and much more.
Musical: I have with Guitar, Flute, Organ & Electric Keyboard (but please, do not ask me to make a noise from a trumpet) – and I enjoy all music styles from the great composers to modern/dance, rock, pop, blues, etc.
Nerdy: My kids do not teach me everything about computers :) I can still teach them something!
Patient: Usually, yes – However, since beginning Uni, I have found that I don’t like waiting for results of assignments
